Your Help is Still Needed
Just because the election is almost over, doesn’t mean we still don’t need your help! We have many volunteer opportunities that you can be a part of including:
- Placing a sign in your yard
- Doing Literature Drops in your neighborhood
- Precinct Polling Location Greeters
- Making a contribution
- Endorsing Bob
Any help that you can give Bob in the last days before the primary will be much appreciated!
To get involved, e-mail Kevin Brownlow, Campaign Manager at
kevin@electbobross.com or call him at 517-499-5622.
How To Cast A “Cross Over” Vote
Placing a crossover vote in the August 8th Primary is a very easy process but is misunderstood by many voters. You may remember that cross over voting played a key role in the 2000 Republican Presidential Primary where a large number of Democrat voters cross over for John McCain allowing him to win the primary.
Voting on August 8th will be no different for those willing to cross over. You will not have to declare your party affiliation at the polling location, but you have the right to vote in whatever primary you desire.
However, you can vote for candidates in either party, but not both. If you do happen to vote for candidates in more than one party, the new optical scan voting machines will spit your ballot back out and you will be allowed to make corrections.
With very few Democrat races being contested in the 64th District, please consider crossing over and voting for Bob Ross and Joe Schwarz on August 8th, they need your support!
64th District Poll Locations
We included a handy listing of all the poll locations in the 64th District. Your voter registration card should have your poll location on the front of the card, but if you still don’t know where to vote on Tuesday, August 8th, you can visit the Michigan Secretary of State’s Voter Information Center at http://www.mi.gov/vote/.
