Cavasin gets Michigan Right to Life nod

CONCORD – Michigan Senate candidate Al Cavasin today announced that he got an important thumbs-up from Right to Life of Michigan in his 19th District campaign.

“I’m honored to win this designation from Michigan Right to Life,” said Cavasin, a Republican from Concord. “Protecting the unborn and respecting life are important values of mine and I’m pleased to see that recognized.”

Right to Life of Michigan has announced that Cavasin meets its endorsement criteria. Mark Schauer, the incumbent 19th District senator, was not listed as meeting Right to Life’s endorsement criteria.

The 19th Senate District comprises Calhoun County and most of Jackson County, including the city of Jackson.
